My goal is to create actionable solutions that fit your lifestyle. There are many different ways to address behavioral issues and basic obedience, we can explore which methods will work best for you and your dog.

Training Programs
Individual Training Session: 45-60 minutes $65
Most skills and behaviors will take more then 1 session but if you would like to continue your training one session at a time then I am more than happy to create an individual plan that fits your goals. We can work together to refine behaviors, learn new commands, and most importantly give you the tools to continue training on your own.
Basic Obedience: 4 Sessions $235
This is great for learning basic commands, refining behaviors, and teaching a foundation of communication with your dog. This is an appropriate amount of time for your dog to understand 1-2 basic commands or refine a behavior.
Intermediate Obedience: 8 Sessions $475
If you are looking to instill a solid foundation of communication with your dog and teach commands that will stick well after training this is for you. This will provide enough time for me to work with your dog and teach them the commands and behaviors you are looking for. Once your dog has a solid foundation of commands we can bring you into our sessions, teach you how to get the most out of your dog, and establish your position as the pack leader.
Board and Train: Rates will vary based on duration of stay and behaviors being trained
While your dog is staying in my home they will get my undivided attention. This allows me to take advantage of every training opportunity, establish behaviors, and teach commands very quickly. If you are looking for faster results I highly encourage you to explore this option and see if your dog would be a good fit for a board and train opportunity.

We will use this time to learn more about your relationship with your dog, what training goals you would like to achieve, and create a plan accomplish them.

This is great to introduce new commands and address any new behavioral issues.

This is best for general obedience training where we can introduce several commands and give you a solid foundation to continue training on your own.

“If you know me, then you know that I have been in dog rescue for over 25 years. I am pretty experienced with basic dog training and commands. I have dealt with some of the most difficult breeds of dogs and dogs who have some out of very abusive environments and kill shelters. Training has never been an issue really although I have worked with numerous trainers over the years. With that said, one of our latest rescues, Lucy, has hands-down been the most difficult dog I have ever tried to train. She is super sweet, intelligent, energetic… and destructive if she doesn’t have the proper exercise and stimulation. We were really struggling not sure how we could keep her and knowing that she had already been returned to the shelter 3X. Then came Jayce!! In all my years I have never met another trainer like him. Meet Your Trainer

Like most trainers I grew up in a home full of animals and wanted to pursue a career in the animal care industry. I started as a veterinarian assistant, worked as a vet tech all through college, and worked in clinics all across the country after graduating from Kent State University with a degree in animal sciences. I have been working with owners and their pets for 5+ years doing everything from general obedience training to behavioral adjustments.
